Penang Floral Festival

The eight days Penang Floral Festival 2007 will start on the beginning month of June. There will be a colourful display of flora and many activities await visitors to the festivals which is open from morning to night at 8pm daily and the entrance is free.

More then 600 0f various kinds of orchids and about 200 of adeniums are expected to be showcased by collectors at the orchids and ademium shows and competitions. The festival will also feature a floral engrave exhibition where colourful plants and flowers will be displayed, and floral art shows where creative floral arrangements will be exhibited. For those who want to take some beautiful flowers and plants home as there will be landscape of items on sales at a garden expo.

Others programme are flower taking compitition where beautiful flower image were taken by the best prosfessional photographer, school student and amature.
